I’m here to speak openly about mental health and the importance of creating a safe space for people to get the support they need. I’ve personally dealt with my fair share of depression and I currently struggle with anxiety. I spoke about it openly at the Mental Health League launch where I sat on a panel speaking on overall wellness and the importance of your thoughts, behaviors and self-care. It felt great sharing my story. It felt great to know that I wasn’t alone and that my story helped a few other people find some sense of peace.
